Can people with epilepsy take Becodefence?
We have to exercise caution with these patients as their trigger could be anything. The management of epilepsy is a joint management of HCPs. Therefore, usage of any medications/products MUST be discussed with the respective HCPs to avoid a relapse. On the basis Becodefence is a medical device exerting its action via a physical barrier in the nose, Becodefence should be safe to be used in patients with epilepsy. Unless, the patient is allergic to components of Becodefence or his/her seizures are triggered by strong smells.
